Each week we will sour New England for family friendly actvities and make recomendations for fun. We welcome you input too. We will post the weekend’s events on Thursday so that we should hopefully be able to consider the weather (if those pesky weatherpeople could get it right).

Hello! I work with the WGBH Auction team, and this Saturday May 30, we will end our month long online Auction with an eight-hour live televised event featuring some of the Auction’s most popular items. I have worked very hard this year on the project and have seen many great donations come in; we worked hard to raise money for a Children’s category, and I must say I’m very proud of some of the wonderful donations that have come in. I wanted to share a few and encourage others to watch the finale this Saturday and bid online for a great cause. WGBH is a trusted source for Kids programming and provides 1/3 of the programming for PBS (Curious George, Design Squad, Between the Lions, Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman just to name a few) and we want to continue in that; our online Auction is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year.
